Since the 2018 vintage, Frédéric Servais, our winemaker, has been vinifying the terroirs of Mâcon-Chardonnay and Mâcon-Cruzille in micro-parcels, as naturally as possible, with only minimal doses of SO2.
Today, the estate produces 7 cuvées. Our Mâcon-Chardonnay parcel "Les Crêts", with younger vines, produces round, gourmet and rich wines. Very Mâconnais ! The Clos des Avoueries parcel, a monopoly with an exceptional situation, produces fresh, powerful and mineral wines. Very Burgundian!
The team of Château de Messey is at your disposal to discover these terroirs and spend a pleasant moment :
- visit of the vat room and the oak barrel vaulted cellar dating back from the XVIth century
- tasting of our cuvées
- wine tourism activities on reservation and à la carte (sports, harvest experience, biodiversity and terroir, wine tasting workshops ...)
